What the audit trail contains
Each audit trail includes:- What was read: which tools, records, or files Alfera accessed and when
- What was changed: every edit, update, or creation it performed across connected tools
- What was sent: every email, message, or notification it delivered, with recipients and timestamps
- What was skipped: any step Alfera chose not to run, with the reason (for example, missing data, approval rejection, or policy match)
- Sources for each action: which tools or data points informed each decision
Where to find it
At the end of every run, Alfera posts a summary in Slack with a link to the full audit trail. You can also open the Dashboard in the Alfera app, click any past run, and view its complete log.How to use it
1
Open a past run
In the Alfera app, go to Dashboard and click the task you want to review.
2
Expand the audit trail
Scroll through the readable log. Each step is timestamped and linked to the tool where it occurred.
3
Investigate or reverse
If something looks incorrect, use the details to undo the action directly in the original tool, or adjust the task description and rerun it.
